Let the sun scoop the boat. You do not have to worry about scooping the boat after each rain shower. The solar bilge pump scoops the boat when the sky is bright. An integrated electronic level monitor switches off the pump when the boat is empty. The solar bilge pump is simple and robust and consists of a solar cell panel, pump and water hose. The solar panel is attached with 3M Velcro fasteners and pump and hose with self-adhesive cable tie anchors and cable ties included in the kit. Normally it rains up to 100 mm per month. The capacity of the solar bilge pump is 150 l / h, which corresponds to 25 mm of rain in a 4.5 m boat. The pump can thus handle the entire month's rain in 4 hours, compared with the sun shining 100 to 300 hours per month. If the clouds dissipate until the evening after a rain shower, the pump has emptied the boat before waking up.
